Just a tip in regards to the Fenty Matchsticks, make sure that you apply to the back of your hand to warm it up first. Then I prefer to use a brush and apply from the back of my hand. I feel like it works better that way.

I have the “Cheeky” shade and I agree that it’s a subtle one. But I like adding this to the apples of my cheeks along with another darker shade on the perimeter of them. It’s also a great shade to use as a blush mixer. Oh yeah, I also have been known to use it as eyeshadow. I just bought the “Always Rosy” shade, but have yet to try it. I might just combine those two and see what comes of it.

Okay as for natural deodorants...try Lume. It is literally the best personal care product I have EVER tried. It's not a baking soda deodorant. It comes as a stick or a cream and you can use it ANYWHERE (externally). I use it on my feet and underarms. It doesn't prevent sweating but COMPLETELY stops odor...like COMPLETELY. It doesn't irritate at ALL and I have really sensitive skin. They say it stops the bacteria from feeding on the sweat. Pretty affordable too. HIGHLY recommend.

I wonder why your First Aid Beauty primer smelled heavily of watermelon? I received a deluxe sample in the mail. Mine smells like cucumber (it is the new hydrating hyaluronic primer). I smell it while applying, but it’s not overwhelming. I can’t smell it once applied. I was planning on purchasing the full size. I think I will double check the tester before purchasing because I really love this primer. Can’t wait to see the videos with today’s makeup look. So glowy!

It just goes to show that even really dry skin behaves differently with different products. The two products you mentioned from Tatcha are the only two products that work for me in the whole line, LOL. I absolutely love the Camellia Oil Cleanser as it doesn't strip my skin, washes off completely without giving me that blurry eye effect you get with some oil cleansers and it leaves my skin feeling very soft. I always second cleanse either with the MiBA Calcium cleanser or the Nuxe Reve de Miel Honey cleanser. The enzyme rice powder is like my favorite thing in the world. I put a small amount in my hand, add warm water, rub my hands together to make a foam, (yes it foams for me!) and then use it all over my skin. My skin is smooth as a babies bottom when I am done. Every one is different so you have to try products even though they don't work for someone who has your same skin type. Thank you for sharing your unsuccessful products. I don't really like a lot of scent in my products but I would prefer them to have a scent as opposed to a heavy chemical smell.

Amanda it’s definitely a line curated in mind of inclusion of WOC. She designed the formula to fit her skin type which is oily. For Rihanna inclusion is important while other lines it’s the “well everyone’s doing it”. Which to me is the more unoriginal route 🤷🏻‍♀️

Loved this Taylor! So many people have recently been complaining about natural deodorants they’ve tried. When it first became a fad, I started getting Native deodorant (coconut vanilla is the one I get, but they make a bunch of scents). They make it for women and men (it’s probably the same formula but different scents, but it’s worth a shot). But if you’d rather continue to use Old Spice, no judgement here! I have a bunch of friends who only wear men’s deodorant- and 99% of them smell better than women’s deodorant!

I know I'm very late to this video so idk if you'll even see this comment, I've been re-watching GoT in prep for the final season, but as someone who used natural deodorants for 10+ years I can safely say they're not for everyone. I'm back to using an aluminum deodorant (Dove Dry Spray) because I couldn't find one that worked well enough in over ten years of trying to find one. I also have very sensitive skin and a lot of natural deodorants, including Lavanilla, would irritate my skin. I used Native for the longest time and I LOVE the fragrances they have and it actually did work at covering up/masking any BO on me but after a while it started to give me a rash. I've been using the Dove Dry Spray for probably about two months and I don't even apply it every day and it still lingers after 24 hrs. It makes my armpits a little itchy, I think it dries my skin out compared to what I'm used to, but the odor control is 100% there. Other natural brands I've tried that I can think of off the top of my head that failed are Kopari (my most recent, it sucks, doesn't do a darn thing), Agent Nateur (smells nice but not effective and very pricey), & Nourish Organic (made me smell soooooooo bad within an hour of application, almost like it goes sour on my skin).

The Garnier skinactive glow boost 2in1 facial mask is really good for oily and combination skin! It's oil controlling but also gives you a glow. My skin looks great after using it. I don't use it as a scrub though only a mask It's too rough as a facial scrub, in my opinion. I can't wait to see the video on this look! HELL YES to your entire deodorant speach. Men's old spice is the only deodorant I can use. And I went a whole month when I was sick wearing no deodorant and I still couldn't switch to natural as bad as I wanted to. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Funny you mention the answering the door thing...just a few hours ago 2 ladies knocked on my door to promote their church for Easter and when they knocked on the door I called “Babe??” Because I thought it was my fiancé and when they answered back I broke into a cold sweat because I couldn’t NOT answer the door because they knew I was home! I hate answering the door 😭
