I’ve been using the runners kit bag for a year now absolutely love it. Fits my glock 19 perfectly and the bag doesn’t flop around on my runs. Keep up the great work.

My kit bag saves me tons from having to rut around in my pack for things I frequently use as I go. I like to have more snacks in the kit bag because it helps incentivize me to eat without having to unload. I also prefer to clip my pack sternum strap underneath the kit bag harness straps--the comfort is worth the time I spend putting the strap underneath the harness. Love the spoon, man! It is definitely your signature.

As an avid hiker and primitive camper, I don’t think I could ever go back to not using the kit bag. It’s just to invaluable. Incredible useful for carrying a firearm in near country. Carrying on your belt while hiking is a huge pain.

These two videos, where you gave a brief overview of your complete kitbag lineup and the differences in features and things to keep in mind when making a decision for different use cases, and then a more in depth video where you explain how the item was intended to be used, are invaluable. Something similar for your pack lineups would be awesome, and especially for your pack pocket options would be amazing. I love my ute for comfort and space on trips, but I've been wanting a pocket that's compatible with it for organization and daily use almost since I bought it, as my current daily carrier is a poor fit. I've been eyeing the Tarahumara, but it'd be awesome to be able to see them all laid out and have the guy who designed them give them the same treatment you've given the kit bags. Especially because of how hard it is to find quality resources on youtube showing the features, suggested uses, and comparing the differences between the pockets. Happy holidays, thanks for the great work and hopefully 2021 goes better than 2020

Nice video. Started out with a Kifaru KU Koala. It is bigger which let me overload it. All my friends started using the Kit Bag. I got a V2 the Koala is lonely now. A folding saw works well on the PALS on the bottom using a USGI pop flare pouch. I generally run my sheath knife on the right side strap. Use a bit of 550 to secure it.

I've often wondered how I can attach some water to my kit bag. I do have water purification in it and am empty 1 liter bag, but takes up a lot of room. Living in Arizona it is kinda a priority
@HillPeopleGear4 жыл бұрын
We live in the desert as well, and the amount of water we like to carry just can't be carried in a KB. One option if you frequently are out with just your KB is the Recon Harness. It replaces the normal harness on the KB with a sleeve that lets you run a 2 liter bladder.

Tip: if you tie a kydex trigger guard to the loop in bottom of kit bag kinetic device compartment, it will fulfill your sense of safety and when you go to pull on your device it unlocks from guard and the guard remains intact in kit bag. The when done toppling your polar bear, click device back into guard...Capiche?

We get shipments in every week. In general, the answer to your question regardless of what product you're asking about is "less than a month". However, sometimes popular items sell out pretty quickly. Make sure you're on the notification list for what you want so you know when it is available.

That is proprietary to our manufacturer First Spear. It is 500d cordura laminated to velcro and then laser cut in a MOLLE pattern. It will take either velcro backed or MOLLE pouches.

I'm a smaller frame guy with a big kitbag and I have to tighten down the side straps so much. When I go to take it off cant get my big head out. Any suggestions I'm assuming I just need a smaller kit bag. Thanks.
@HillPeopleGear2 жыл бұрын
Loosen the side straps prior to taking it off. The strap keepers make it very hard to do this so don't use them. Strap keepers are one of those things where form impedes function.
Why not just add a pull tab on the inside of the ccw compartment itself? To make it easier to open up the bag and design it in a way that the entire compartment completely opens up for easier draw? And just make the all the insides of the compartment to have molle velcro, owners can put any accesories they want in there and it will help hold the gun better.

Why do you keep your camera in a bag that is not waterproof?
@HillPeopleGear3 жыл бұрын
Our bags are as close to waterproof as anything short of a proper dry bag is. I've carried my camera in a Kit Bag for nearly a decade now and have never had any water issues.
@newlifeeveryday18213 жыл бұрын
@@HillPeopleGear That great. Are the bags seem sealed and made of 500d Cordura ? Are they treated with anything ? If so what are they treated with ?
@HillPeopleGear3 жыл бұрын
500d is milspec -- waterproof coating on the inside, dwr treated on the outside. Most seams are edge bound, none of them are sealed. I don't know of any seam sealed packs, just seam sealed garments. You could paint the seams yourself with silicone if you thought it was going to be a problem. I never had a problem in the rainforest of the PNW, but you might live somewhere wetter.
@newlifeeveryday18213 жыл бұрын
@@HillPeopleGear No need to be sarcastic. I like your products and own one of them. They are excellent quality. I just dont trust my camera gear to Cordura.
@HillPeopleGear3 жыл бұрын
I wasn't being sarcastic. I'm sure there are wetter environments than the PNW. Never spent time in the SE for example and by all accounts it's even harder to keep stuff dry because of the humidity. Running rivers is another example of a wetter environment.

I am old enough to remember when we camped under the stars at night throughout the western US - valleys, mountains, deserts, everywhere - and nobody carried a gun or even thought about it.
