Oh my gosh! I absolutely hate putting a bunch of different products in my hair 😢 i wish someone would make a volumeizer with shine in ONE!

I actually have two options you can use alone- The Full Form Mousse creates very soft, shiny, bouncy volume. The Great Body Blow-dry Creme is also great. This product volumizes, softens, smooths the cuticles, adds shine, and has heat protection

Hi Shannon, As you know, you’re my go to for all BB products! So, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed the crown on my head has lost volume and had flattened tremendously. That being said, what product would your recommend for that? I’m thinking the thickening spray but wanted your opinion. Also, when I do add curls, who doesn’t love the Victoria Secret hair?! With that being said, my hair is not thin, it’s medium texture. That said, what products would you recommend? Thanks as always!!! Xo

If you want the soft 90s supermodel volume, i'd definitely look into the great body blow-dry. This product will nourish, add volume and has heat protection. It also includes the emblica technology that increases the diameter of each hair strand. This means that the hair will stay voluminous until you wash it next : )

Is the go big treatment a leave in Conditioner?
@ShannonfromBumbleandbumble
@ShannonfromBumbleandbumble Жыл бұрын
Hi There! It does have mositure properties, but it's more of a targeted treatment. It is designed to plump each individual hair strand until you wash your hair next- so it's more about creating soft density. If you're looking for a leave in conditioner- take a peek at my primers videos. If you hair is fine and healthy, pick prep- If your hair is fine and somewhat dry use tonic. If it's brittle and dry (fine, medium, thick) choose Hairdressers invisible oil primer, If you're curly, pick the curl primer/ reactivator :) Hope this helps!

What is the difference between great body blow dry and the bumble and bumble heat protector?
@ShannonfromBumbleandbumble
@ShannonfromBumbleandbumble 2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Great Body Blow-dry Creme has the plumping "embica" technology that increases the diameter of each hair strand. It also smooths, provides hold/ lift and has 450 degrees of heat protection. The Bumble and bumble Heat Shield Thermal Protector is just that- a thermal protector. It goes on hair dry, prior to styling or restyling with hot tools. It has no hold, and provides a bit of slip and shine.

The reformulated conditioner is horrible! I got a sample and gave it a few tries & threw it away. Thank goodness I still had half a bottle of the old formula:) The new shampoo is not as good as the old formula but I do use it, minus the conditioner

Hi There! The reformulated version of the conditioner now has more moisture + the Emblica Technology that increases the diameter of the hair-strand. This may no longer be a fit for your hair type, but it's great for very fine hair that runs a bit dry. If you liked the feather light previous version, I would recommend Seaweed Conditioner- you may also like the Seaweed Shampoo as well : )

Have you tried the plumping mask? I can't decide between the conditioner and the mask because they claim to do the same thing.

What’s the difference between the go big treatment and the thickening spray?
@ShannonfromBumbleandbumble
@ShannonfromBumbleandbumble 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Danielle! Great question- The Go Big is a treatment with no hold- It has a special technology in it that increases the diameter of each hair strand and adds moisture. The effect will remain until you wash it next, with no sticky product feel. The Thickening Spray is a "structure" product, that gives you soft, touchable hold, but also memory. So think about if you use a round brush at your crown and want to keep the boost of the round brush , the thickening spray will help with this. The Go Big treatment is great to layer under the Thickening spray to keep your hair looking and feeling voluminous until you wash it next. I put a few sprays of the Go Big on my bangs and crown and then layer with the Surf Foam Spray blow-dry for my hold. Hope this helps!

@C.M. Bright Hi! If you want, tell me a little about your routine, as it shouldn't feel like plastic! For thickening spray, our educators at Bb. use A LOT of it to keep the hair soft and controlled. The typical application is as follows: Shampoo/ condition with products of choice, add in primer of choice and spray thickening spray throughout hair. Concentrate where you need the most control- you can add a smoothing product (like the bond building styling creme or repair) over it, as well. Blow-dry thoroughly and you should not have the tack you mentioned. That being said, if you just don't love the product in your hair, totally fine! It's not my thickening product of choice, either. Have you tried the go big treatment? This product has no hold or tackiness whatsoever, but plumps the hair using emblica technology to increase the diameter of each hair strand until you wash it next. I use this layered with the surf foam spray blow dry to get my lift and control (+ a little soft texture). Hope this helps!

@Chelle Bright Primer is always a good choice, and you can absolutely mix and match lines. Prior to working with Bb. I used multiple lines, but a good rule of thumb is to think of hair-care like skincare- and with skincare, you're only going to use 1 type of each of these (think, you're not going to use two moisturizers): Shampoo/ Conditioner= Face Cleanser Bb. Primer = Toner Smoothing Treatment = Moisturizer Volumizing/ Texture/ Hold product (like Thickening Spray)= Concealer (you're going to place this only where you need the boost) Finishing Spray (HIO Dry Oil, Soft Texture or Dry Spun, Hairspray) = setting spray (apply when your hair is dry/ you are done with the look) Hairsprays can differ in levels of hold- We have three levels. I am not familiar with the Kenra 25, but if it's a super high hold, it can get sticky when dampened. If you're just looking to control fly-aways and to keep the hair movable/ brushable/ touchable, look at our Does it All Spray or Spray De Mode : )

I spent 70 dollars for the shampoo and conditioner and was not overly impressed. The shampoo was ok but the conditioner actually made my hair dry. The thickening spray was ok but I don’t hardly use it s as I I usually air dry my 2/c 3a curls. Overall NOT worth 100 dollars

Hi Erica! The this line is going to be best for people with fine, straight to wavy hair who are going to be using heat to blow-dry out straight or heat styled a bend with a brush. The thickening spray is not going to be an ideal choice for air-drying your 2c/ 3c curls. Without actually seeing your hair, I may suggest the thickening go big treatment + the curl mousse to style with if you are looking for volume but want to air dry without dryness. The thickening go big treatment is going to be sprayed in lightly throughout the hair, concentrating on roots, then you can layer with the mousse, define/ set your curls to your preference then air-dry. In terms of shampoo/ conditioner- try hairdressers invisible oil! light enough to build volume, but will definitely keep your hair moisturized. Hope this helps!

@@ShannonfromBumbleandbumble thanks for replying. Yes I know the spray is best for heat which is why I said I don’t often use it as I air dry. My hair has all different curls lol from 2/b to 3 a curls. My stylist recommended this as my hair is fine in texture. I have low porosity hair so I need a lot of moisture.

@@ericabertagnoli5469 Yes! If you do want to blow-dry straight but want volume, try the great body blow-dry creme- because it's a creme, it translates as more smoothing and nourishing than the spray. It also has 450 degrees of heat protection, along with Bumble's plumping "emblica" technology that increases the diameter of each hair strand until you wash it next.
