Very good work. I was having problem with the shadow part but your video helped me to learn. One thing I want to say, the can says APPLE flavour and your theme is COCONUT based.

Select a pen tool and then make a selection for Plam tree close the selection and then click enter and press ctrl + j to create a new layer for your selection

ctl+click on the thumbnail of the tree layer (for selecting the tree). Make a new layer above it. Hit ctl + delete to fill it with black. (make sure your secondary color is black)
