Product Overview and System Configuration of a Rockwell Automation CIP Safety Laser Scanner

Systems Engineer Michael McCarty completes an overview on the software configuration for Rockwell Automation's SafeZone™ 3 Safety Laser Scanner. An example configuration will be created with two monitoring cases to show how the scanner can actively switch profiles at runtime. A simple PLC application is demonstrated showing the proper safety tags to monitor and how to change the active monitoring case.
