How much content on the page? 2000 words. Does it matter in 2024? Our competitor has less content (information) but ranking better than us. Wdyt?

There are a lot of ranking factors. User experience is more important than ever. And EEAT, what your content is actually saying, and the density of relevant entities and keywords on the page. Word count does matter and it’s a best practice to be in a similar range as the top 3 ranking pages, but UX, EEAT signals, header structure, and keyword and entity usage matter more.
