Apologies for the black screen and music at the end. Forgot to unmute the final timelapse before export and now don;'t have time to re export or to re upload. Maybe just enjoy the music haha.

I have never considered product photography something I would be interested in. Having watched a few of your videos and the way you present the content has been very inspirational, particularly with lockdown restrictions in place! Thanks for providing the videos and tutorials.

You can also use these in images as graphic elements. for example just the corner of a block or juxtapose shapes of blocks to build a set or image.

Hey, Scott! Thank you for such an informative video! Just wanted to ask how you deal with colour casts to your subject/s from having such solid props and surfaces?

If you want to keep track of your superclamp flat plate adaptors the little notch in the middle of them will clip on to the thread of the main jaw winder control for storage.

I use very similar boxes, mine are actually small wooden draws from a kids desk organiser - picked up the desk organiser from kmart here in australia for $15, came with 4 draws. Sanded, painted and good to go. For others ones I buy a length of pine wood post 100mmx100mmx1000mm from the hardware store and cut it length. When they get too battered, I sand them back and apply another coat of paint.

Thank you for the information, what paint do you recommend to use to paint these boxes, is it synthetic enamel paint used to paint wooden or metal items or acrylic emulsion used for painting home interior/exterior walls, please suggest

Well, that was very informational in that I like to see your workflow. It's hard to find an honest to goodness professional that will allow that. One curiosity I have is that I have never seen you us a snoot. I have two and use them all the time. I would like to hear something on that kind of thing. You have me wondering. Your videos are always good. Love watching Moage chillin out.

I sometimes use them for certain commercial jobs, but I prefer either a lens or a really tight grid for a more natural look.

Hey Scott what is that big black thing called? The tripod like black bar? My school photo equipment centre get mad at me for calling it "the big black thing" but they don't actually know the name either, ha.

You are lacking the magic wand that makes these shapes possible - an edge trim router. The way it works - you cut things roughly to shape, or in case of bigger thngs, you order the panels cut to size rouhgly. Then you glue them so that some edges protrude. Then finally you trim the edges with a router, which gives them the perfect edge and suareness. Sometimes the flush cutting bit leaves a mark on mdf, so you need to first glue some painters tape to it. You can look at DIY loudspeaker videos to see how people do it.

The least informative video on product photography I've seen...no explanation on how you position the lightings, how many lights, modifiers etc etc...it ended up being an advice on what kind of clutch to get, and a timelapse of people and things going around...ZERO info on the shots 🤷‍♂️
