My Greys GRXi has done me proud for over 10 years but it's time to look around again. That Airflow looks the bees knees with sufficient spools to carry all my lines.

I’ve got a very noisy Shakespeare alloy reel that might be older than me, and a cheap Airflo graphite reel. Plus a wee maxcatch number for small rivers.

I bought one of these recently partially on the claimed weight of 172gms. I placed it on digital weighing scales, which is accurate to 1gm. It weighed 207 gms exactly the same as the switch black reel. If I'd known that, I would have bought a different reel. It would be good if Airflo got their product information correct. Otherwise, this is a very good reel with a good drag, good finish, and sturdy cassettes
