PRODUCT TEST : CASSETTE TO MP3 CONVERTER : ANY GOOD?

I bought one years ago, never even opened the box... This video inspired me on how I will one day convert my important cassettes, first drop them onto my Fostex MR8 from a nice deck, then download the file to computer w/Jodix mp3 conversion. (and or burn it to CD right off the Fostex. ) Thanks , Cheers!

hi TRG i've worked with audacity and i found it a great software for messing with the sound, it's almost like a toy, and i know you can modify sound in order to eliminate that ticking sound, so it maybe is a plus to have it on this device.

My cousin bought me this for Christmas, i knew it was probably gonna be super bad 😓 but tried it anyway for some tapes that werent digitized, kinda bad quality but its better than nothing

Yeah, it does the job, just not very high end.

The ticking noise sounds more like WiFi interference to me. Did you have your WiFi router or other WiFi device near the player?

No. I have used this device with no WiFi anywhere near it, and it still makes that sound.

This is not a good device at all, it's just ewaste, the wow and flutter and background noise are so intense that it can only be used as an effect for lofi musicians. I can't see any other use, the converted mp3s are so bad that it's not worth the effort.
