I hear you on the sun but I have tried to move away for 365 sun days. Back in Seattle. The rain makes Seattle beautiful and the summers in Seattle are second to none. Lived in LA and it's just not the same. Less beauty, no walkable areas close to where I lived. needed a car for everything. Sitting in traffic with sun is not fun.
