I LOVE how you are showing a realistic bridal shower. It Looks amazing but it is not in an expensive Location with over the top flower arrangements etc. People these days think every Event has to be this luxurious instagram model thing. No, it doesn‘t. It‘s about the people who are there and who put the effort in just for you.

the bridal shower looked wonderful! congrats to your bestie! love the dress you wore too - lookin' beautiful selena! if you like vietnamese coffee, there's another spot in NE portland called 'cafe ume' - hubby really likes the salted coffee, and i prefer either a pandan or ube coffee :) ALSO totally thought of you the other week as well! (took my hubby to 'good coffee' in cedar hills and he loved it so much he bought a bag of coffee beans to brew up at home.) i hope you and david are doing well and surviving the summer heatwave we had last week!

Just curious as I have some friends getting married, can you shed some light on gift giving? Do you give a gift for every occasion or do you set a limit, since there is usally an engagement party, bridal shower, bachelorette and then the wedding

honestly good question, I have no clue hahha I'm learning as I go along. first of all, I don't think I'd purchase for an engagement party, if anything it would be between the bridal shower/bachelorette/wedding I've only been in 1 other wedding and he was my guy bestfriend, which I think also changes the dynamics/expectations, and it was a destination bachelor party, so that also changes things bc of the added cost, so Idk :p It really depends tbh. Like even if you're in the wedding, it depends if the bachelorette party is a destination bachelorette or if the wedding is a destination wedding, etc, in those circumstances because of the cost of the flight, I probably wouldn't buy gifts tbh. But if everthing is close to home, it's easier to plan + prep for the parties and also get gifts, if that makes sense. Idk, this probably didn't answer your question lol I will say, If i'm just a wedding guest and not in the wedding, I'd probably just get a gift or send $.

@@vickysxvage I taught him everything he knows hahaha you just wait til the water is boiling, then add the eggs and time it for 7 mins. Immediately put them into ice + water and let them fully cool.
