Just an FYI for some of the “newer” cooks here: when Cambriea added the butter to the pan to help loosen the crust in the pan, that is called deglazing, you can use butter, broth, wine or other liquid to do this; so when you have a recipe that calls for deglazing, now you know what it means!

My son and his family live with us ( over a year so far) until their house is built...done in November, but this is my life. I clean the house everyday after they all go to school and work. I do lots of laundry, I wash dishes and clean kitchen and lots of laundry...eleventy times a day, ...seems like.. I’m behind in my yard and food forest project. I love my family and even though I’m busy....I will so miss them when they move into their new home. I’m 62 and living your life...for this season- watching from Lake Wales, Florida

Just a tip I learned from Whippoorwill Hollar, KZbin, Ms. Lori said if your recipe calls for cream you can use evaporated milk, she said its the same as cream. Thanks for sharing your family's journey. Always a 👍's up, from Ohio.

The day in the life was a fun change. I so relate to your boys and breakfast before school. Hated breakfast food in the morning, and it was always a fight. I would take a tuna sandwich every day for lunch and one day asked for a half tuna sandwich for breakfast. Mum threw up her hands and said fine. My pediatrician gave his blessing, so elementary through high school, every school day was half tuna for breakfast and a whole tuna sandwich for lunch. 😮 Yes, I still eat tuna, but not as much.😅 Freya is adorable. I love how she thanks you for her meal. So sweet to learn to be polite and thankful.❤ The ducks and quail are fun additions. 🦆🐣 Excited for your garden and Lincoln logs is a good description. I'm very interested and will check to see if you have the ordering information. Your dinner looked really yummy. I'm going to be making that one of these days soon. So happy you took a nap. Oh my goodness, this reminds me of when I was in the third grade. My Mom would stand me in front of the kitchen sink to brush it back into a pony tail. My hair was really thick & when up, it came down to back of my knees. Since I was so tender headed. I cried & became vocal it hurt so bad. Finally Mom got tired of the hassle & had it cut off. No more problems in the morning. Needless to say my daughter kept her long hair, for most of her life & she is a teacher now. Lol I just never had it long again. It's so cute to see you inter react with your daughter. Precious 💞, that's why I always say you are a good Momma. ❤

Luv this video! In the beginning u said that people want to see these day in the life. They’re great! My husband has a KZbin channel and gets the same requests so two weeks ago we were fishing on our boat and “thought” we ended the video there, it was just a live of what we do in the evenings so we could talk to people and answer questions, well he never actually ended the live, so people stayed for 25 more minutes listening to our conversation until a friend messaged us and said we’re still live. It was so funny! I called them all creepy for staying and listening 🤣🤣🤣🤣 the comments were hilarious!

And then there’s my husband who destroys it but hey… can’t complain if he’s cooking. 😊 I don’t understand why doing anything sweet for your spouse is considered “old fashioned”. I sometimes plate my husbands food & when he grills steak he slices it for me. It goes both ways. Thanks for sharing your day.

Freya is such a sweet baby girl..... I remember as a girl they didn't sell hair conditioner or any of these tangle sprays, and I had long, thick, blonde wavy hair, but my Mother was resourceful and she would put a little jojoba oil after she would wash it, to make it easier to brush.....

Hi Cambriea great video my daughter and Grandaughter likes getting their hair done I never hear a word from them not even when I had to wash it for them they were so good but I never minded my hair done either. I’m 29 and I also enjoy serving my husband his food. Once in a while he’ll do it on his own or even get my plate ready but 98% of the time I do it. Too many things now a days are thought of as “old fashioned” but personally I don’t think that’s anything to be ashamed of
