i know i'm not kalyn, but honestly i think candles and fairy lights are the way to go, as they give a more cosy feel, and adding touches of warmer colour, for example throw pillows, can really make a room look more cosy and fall-like! hope that helps :)

To put out your candles you can put the top of the lid directly on while the candle is lit. It puts out the flames and doesn't leave a burnt smell after. I believe that's why most candles come with lids.
