Wait is Amy is college? I'm a bit confused about how school works in the UK. Is uni different from college? Because in American 12th grade is the last year before university

yeahh uni is basically university in america. But college isn’t uni in the Uk, it’s like you can do university levels or you can just do your two years in college after secondary school. So in college you have Y12 and Y13 and this can also happen in sixth forms. You have these before most people go to university. I don’t know if I explained that well, but that how I can describe it. 😅

college/sixth form in the uk is equivalent to grades 11 and 12 in america. basically, it’s the last two years of education before university.

Yes, UK education is different from most countries. Compulsory education ends at 16. You can then go to college, go into sixth form, or study an apprenticeship. University education starts at 18. We also have a very high dropout rate from school.
