Yes, you can use Spring RestTemplate, Feign or any other library you like to access REST endpoints. Or other Java libraries for whatever type of API you have. The great thing about Java is that there's support for almost anything :)

When you opened up IntelliJ, what type of project did you specify? Empty? Something else? Your video skips over a very important step with no explanation of what you did to get to where you are. For example, you talk about dragging a file into IntelliJ, but you leave out the steps that allowed you to do that. What did you do at the IntelliJ splash screen? New Project? Empty Project? Details please! As a wild guess, I tried "Open Project" while pointing to the todo directory. Just when I thought it was going to work, up pops a suggestion that I run npm install. I try doing that and boom! This error happens: Could not install from "target\flow-frontend" as it does not contain a package.json file It appears to be related to the following line in package.json in the dependencies section: "vaadin/flow-frontend" : "./target/flow-frontend", what is the solution or work-around to the above error/
