I’m a nurse and I have seen a lot during my 14 years of experience. Back in 2021 I was coming back from my lunch, and I was ready to get the elevator to go on the 8th floor. Just right in front of me I saw an old lady on a wheelchair and a young man pushing the wheelchair. They were walking ahead of me and they were smiling at me. I was surprised I have never seen them before and they seemed to know me. They went inside the elevator first and I decided to take the next elevator since I wasn’t in the mood for socializing with anyone. But the elevators door was staying open and I thought that they were waiting for me so I went inside. When I got inside the elevator was empty. I swear to God it happened and I was so shocked that I was trying to convince myself that never happened and I imagined it.

"sometimes something doesn't quite go according to plan" like waking up in the night and seeing a girl standing on your parents drawers praying. Bonus points for living in an old house that used to own the land where a pond was where a girl drowned. As an adult you can just say "well maybe I was having a very lucid dream" but for a long time I believe I did see a ghost, as I was too scared to just get up and touch the thing to check. My mum also said I used to unnerve her because I pointed and said "look she's there, can't you see her" at earlier occasions which I don't remember myself.

I beleive that the reason people see ghosts is because of the barn owl like most ghost sightings are at night and barn owls are nocturnal. Im pretty skeptical about ghost but there is a part of me that thinnks that the supernatural is real and ghosts do exist. There’s absolutely no reason and no possibility to believe in anything supernatural like ghosts. In every single investigation of ghosts, it’s been thoroughly debunked as nonsense. People make up imaginary claims because they’ve been deceived or they themselves are trying to fool you. Ghosts have yet to be proven to exists, so in a practical sense we can reasonably say they aren’t real. Especially when every investigation of supernatural activity has resulted in a debunking. Nobody has provided any evidence for anything supernatural, so the claims of them aren’t going to be believed. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. If you have evidence that the laws of physics were momentarily suspended, then please provide them so we can investigate them. We don’t waste time on silly nonsensical magical claims because they fly in the face in everything that we understand about the natural world which has been rigorously analysed and peer reviewed, yet not one instance of the supernatural. Claims of the supernatural are as preposterous as saying that there are fairies in the bottom of the garden. I have an extraordinary high degree of certainty based on my understanding of the natural world that there very likely isn’t any fairy’s in the bottom of the garden.

He said he had no idea why, but the inmates really acted up during that time of the month. I have heard other officers my dad worked with mention the same observation. Ghosts are real and it’s absurd to think we are alone in the universe is foolish. Just because we can’t comprehend it in the dimensions we see, doesn’t mean that life isn’t around in a higher dimension world that we are unable to see. He actually didn't dismiss ghosts. in fact his response was more of a question sounding a little unsure. he also stated "as far as we're aware" which is the same language used in reference to Aliens. but the answer of the afterlife could also be humanities importance to alien life forms. For all we know spirits and the after life could be exclusive to humanity. We are walking electromagnetic energy, that energy probably remains after death making us technically immortal. if this is a trait exclusive to humans then I don't really know what that would mean for us in terms of aliens.

I have always been an atheist (sorry) and have never believed in life after death - I'll always go with science. However, two things fascinate me - one: how did life get here in the first place (through evolution) and two : psychics, my wife sees them and some of them come out with stuff that could never be picked up through extensive social media research or general conversation - I'm a sceptic but some things just can't be explained. Brains are great at anthropomorphising things. Creating patterns to create meaning. Because we had to, because it was safer to be a bit more jumpy about danger and sometimes be wrong than to be dead. The thing that I think is cool when they talk about other "earthlike or super earth like" planets and they show a giant Earth with plants and stuff on them...even if there isn't any civilizations on that planet, I think it's cool just to know there are forests and trees and flowers growing with nothing to bother them. Species of plants we could never even imagine...and who knows...maybe ants and bees flying around...spiders hanging off a bush...idk... just an idea I've always enjoyed thinking about.

It was also considered blasphemy by the Church to suggest otherwise. Galileo found this out the hard way. They are observing and predicting the behavior of very fundamental pieces of our perceivable existence. They are among our most intelligent people and they barely have a grasp on those topics. I saw a ghost in 2006. I was 16 at my friends house. I never believed in ghosts. I’ve never been to church. My friend and I are 34 years old now and we still get hives when we reflect back on it. It was absolutely terrifying as teenage girls, but as woman we are quite fascinated. It’s interesting that you mentioned film.
