Its mind boggling how many songs this man has made. He could just spit str8 bars through his tracks like everyone else but in stead he makes it vibrate an entertaining. Tbh Ive been tired of listening to music for years. Gift of gab,R.A Rugged man,jedi mind tricks,del the funky homosepian,Atmosphere,Aceop Rock,Hieroglyphics,Canibus,they all blew my mind early Millennium when when it was all new to me but then I started getting hungry for something new and differant. It stayed that way for me for a long,long time. I wish I hadn't been stuck in trumpsville VA for the last 12,15 years because I never ran into anyone that like the same kind of music I liked. Im not sure how Prof slipped by me because his music is exactly the kind of music I'd been looking for. I literaly stopped listening to music for years because it all got so boring and basic. Even the artists that used to send chills down my spine and blew my mind stopped doing it for me. For the longest time,All I listened to was deltron3030 because it was the only thing I could find that sent my mind out there and was wierd and differant enough. It breaks my heart that I only just discovered Proff two months ago. It makes me resent my friends,the town,the state,for all being so basic that no one told me about this guy. This wa exactly what I was looking for. He's a genius and I'm dying to know how he learned how to write such vibrant articulate songs. Even his beats, like theyre good but if any one else was going in on them they would sound generic. The stuff he comes up with, why couldn't I have spent the last 2 decades chillin with people like this instead of allways being surrounded by brainwashed people who didnt realize that they all listened to the same basic crap and everything from the kind of dogs they liked to the clothes they wore and the cars they drove was effected by it and they were just oblivious. My creativity has been wilting like a dying plant because Ive been surrounded by people who were afraid of the part of there brain and constantly alienated me and tried to stifle who I was by calling me a wierdo and just basically not understanding me my entire adult life. Ot got to the point where I went into isolation and didnt leave my house for 7 years because I wanted to write good,creative music with my own original perspective and everyone around me was such the opposite of the that they were unhealthy for tge kind of thinking and creativity I was trying to achieve. My music still isnt good enough now because I had to teach myself and im wicked add and dislexic and o could only read and watch tutorials for a couple minutes before I was like ooh look a squirrel. By myself in isolation my creativity wilted as well and my music suffered because I didnt have any charasmatic,creative,energenic,dedicated, harde working musicians to work with and bounce ideas off of. Every rap i tried to work with had no original ideas a shitty additude and no work ethic. I started trying to learn how to rap on my own but i not great because Ive been spread too thin by trying to figure out how yo produce by my self with no guidence my entire adult life. All im trying to say is that this guy gets it and if I had feiends like him in my life I wouldn't have been in the musical rut ive been in for the last decade and a half. Everyone around me has been trying to talk me out of it and discourage me since 2005 and Ive been alienated ever since because I was the only one who wanted to work 90 hours a week for free trying to come up woth the perfect ideas but my music is garbagr because I never had anyone aroumd to bring it out in me and feed off of. What Im trying to say is Im a little jealous that this man has such great music and ideas and albums and experience to show for his hard work and allI have is garbage. Dont get me wrong.I aint hating my any means. Thank god it worked out for him like it did. Otherwise I wouldnt have finally found the kind of music ive been so hungry for all these year. That being said,I do have to give atmosphere and aseop Rock props for their latest albums. I always found atmospher a little to generic and people pleasing to really get into but his latest album is pure art. My opinion of that man as an artist has drastically changed over the past 2 months.Same with Aesop. Thanks Prof for having that "it" every artist is always trying to get off the tip of their tounge but cant.
