You think about history in such cartoonish ways. It's simpler but not entirely true. Don't think Africans won't be the first to attack each other. You may live a harmonious life for few years, but then some ambitious tribal chief or warrior will come along and think he should run everything. It's just a matter of time. No place on earth was that harmonious from the beginning or forever. That is why tribes intermarried and tried all sorts of customs and treaties to keep the peace. One last thing, slavery was not always a black thing. There were Arabs, Persians and Slavs who were enslaved as a result of conquests, wars or just kidnappings. It's just how the world was at some point. I know it makes feel warm and fuzzy to talk like that here, but we have to stop confusing things.
