A unique voice among many Urhobo voices in our musical industry. The best interpreter of the language in music. Apart from being a humble fan of Prof. I will say he was the best artist Urhobo ever had.

I'm a big fan, but the best ever goes to Chief Omokomoko. Prof. Adjan and Chief Okpan have on several times confirmed this on their records.

Lots of respect to the late papa Omokomoko but soundly speaking and as a voice coach myself, Papa Johnson is the best. He sings with a lot of dexterity. He's does a whole lots of rifts and runs in his music. He simply classic in his delivery. Many years ago, at Cornerstone Studio, Benin city, I watched him record a full album at one stretch without stopping. The man is a legend. He probably did more hits songs and albums than any other Urhobo musician I can think of. Glory to God for such a gift to the Urhobo nation.
