Why is body given its due after denying it for several decades. What is the reason for its discovery. Has robotics has anything to do with this?

I feel like Asian and indigenous philosophy may already had this idea or philosophy. It links with positive Psychology as well which are only relevtively new concepts in western spheres. I was taught James and Eleanor Gibson started the idea of embodied Cognition (EC) in Psychology (in the 50s and 80s rspecitvely) but I don't think they called it that. So I'm guessing robotics heard about it and saw great results (Boston Dynamic's Big Dog) which helps support the idea but I think we're yet to see it jump to the forefront in Psychology, at least from a non academic viewpoint. But I'd like to see that and it could be soon. But when it does I'd like EC keep it's place in cognitive Psychology vs prodomintely positve Psych. But I'd also want to see the people and culutres around the world that have long carried this belief and knowledge to be ackowledged. Lastly, as someoen who wants to get inot education reform, I was very pleased to her of its application in education. As a result, I'd like to see it used in reforms of national ciriculums, along side reforms for inter-nationalism & decolonsation, and about 30% less content for the wellbeing of everyone for those aged 11 and up at leat. Digressing but I like to share when related topics arise.
