My guy is from the powderhorn neighborhood in mpls, MN. In the late 80s early 90s. High murder rate.. Police where also super fucked in that area. Lots of corruption and ass whoopings from them. But he reps his hood hard. And he really didn't have a 1 song that made him. His performance is what makes fans. If you find somthing of his that you like, then your going to love all of his music. All your reviews so far are his faster paced party songs. Which are fire. But when you get into the songs where he really pours himself into, it's going to give you chills. Enjoys your journey down the prof rabbit hole.

Prof’s entire catalog is amazing and only gets better as time goes on. His 4 newest songs are possibly the best of his career so far, and if you haven’t yet, check em out. Minneapolis, MN, dude goes hard. And the first song I heard from him was Lightwork. As far as I know that was his first big hit that actually got his name beyond MN, but I could be wrong.

You can go back well over a decade on prof. If you go back to Project Gampo- circa 2007 you can find some classics such as Rocket Man, Gold Teeth, Run Game, and Bubble Up. Fast forward a couple years and you’ll get the Kaiser Von Powderhorn mixtapes (I, II, and III) with such songs as Shoot Shoot Kill, Animal, Rules, Terminator, Me Boi, and Moron. Then King Gampo came out, followed by Liability, Pookie Baby, and Powderhorn Suites. He has a style that is unmatched and is undoubtedly one of the best to ever come out of the twin cities underground scene. Rhymesayers signed him for a while after he opened for Atmosphere and Grieves for several tours. His early stuff is by far my favorite but every album drops fire in one form or another. A live show cannot be missed, the hype is turned up so high, I can’t think of a better live rap act.

i got stoned and went down a hole of people reacting to Prof, because no one expects it. 90% of the reaction videos start with the reviewer restarting the video and saying "hold up, i wasnt ready for that." in all the videos ive watched today, this is the most thoughtful and knowledgeable "reactor" i've seen. good content, my dude! one thing no one seems to really gets about this particular video, with the flashback scene, is that there is a rumor Mr Rogers was a war veteran, a navy seal. thats what's goin on there.
