അതിശയിപ്പിക്കുന്ന കാര്യം കേരളത്തിലെ ഒരു ഒറ്റ പള്ളികളിൽ പോലും അത് CSI , RC , ORTHODOX, എന്നീ...പ്രമുഖ കെട്ടിടങ്ങളിൽ..പോലും.. ജാതി വിവേചനം ഇപ്പോഴും..നിലനിൽക്കുന്നു. എന്തിനേറെ..കർത്താവ് എൻ്റെ കക്ഷത്താണ് എന്ന് വീമ്പിളക്കുന്ന സാക്ഷാൽ പെൻ്റാകോസ്റ്റ് കാരുടെ ഇടയിൽ പോലും.. ഒരു 50%പോലും ജാതി വിവേചനത്തിന് അയവ് വന്നിട്ടില്ല. അതും ഈ 2022 ൽ 😨 ഇനി ഇങ്ങനെയൊന്നും വിവേചനം ഇല്ലാത്ത ഒരു പള്ളിയിൽ പോകാമെന്ന് വെച്ചാൽ കേരള കരയിൽ തന്നെ അങ്ങനൊരു പള്ളി കാണത്തെയില്ല 😁 അതുകൊണ്ട് പരാമാവധി ഞായറാഴ്ച മാത്രം പോക്കുള്ളവരായിരിക്കുക്ക... ഇനി വിവേചനം പരിധിക്ക് മുകളിലാണെങ്കിൽ അവിടെ ഒട്ടുംതന്നെ പോകാതിരിക്കുന്ന്താണ് വളരെ നല്ലത്. കാരണം ദേവാലയങ്ങൾ എന്ന് ബോർഡ് വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ സ്ഥലങ്ങൾ പണ്ടെക്ക് പണ്ടെ..... ഭൂതങ്ങളുടെ കോട്ടയായി കഴിഞ്ഞു 😑 പാസ്റ്റർ മാർക്കും.. അഛൻമാർക്കും... വേണ്ടത്... പള്ളിയിൽ aactive people എന്ന് ലേബൽ ഉള്ള കുറെ അടിമകളെ യാണ്.😆 ഈ ഒരു കാര്യത്തിൽ മാത്രം അവർ ജാതി വിവേചനം കാണിക്കാറില്ല😂

Dear Sir, your comparison of Aiyan kali with Jesus cannot be accepted to the least percentage., but your talk on Holiest of the Holy place definitely carry value. Bcz as Jesus died on the cross, the curtain that separated common man from priests was torn from top to bottom by God the Father, which means that there's no more such separation. But the Episcopal Church wanted it as a profession and till now they're continuing it. It's non-biblical and against Truth.

Christians were in kerala before the arrival of vascodi gamma in kozhikode some 500 years back,they are uppercaste hindus converted,they are added in the general category by the govt ie they have no reservation,new converted are included in the reservation catogory,as obc,the first catogory are called as syrian christians.

There was a Bishop in the Orthodox church who worked for the low cast people in Kerala His name is Pathrose mar Osthatheos. He started an organization called "Servants of Cross" & he is called Malankara Gandhi. He was well educated and treated everyone the same. Very few people talk about his simple life. There were lots of objections to making him a bishop because of his simple life of never owning a car and travelling in public transportation. No church will ever have a bishop like him.. He sacrificed his whole life for the poor & needy.

Dear Mr. Valson Thampu, It is true that like any other field, in religious leadership also bad apples crept in leadership and involved in immoral and illegal activities. However, to put all pastors and leaders in the same basket is unjustifiable. I think your outright rejection of the Church, pastors, lay leaders, church-going Christians, Worship, and sacraments is throwing the baby out with the bath water and outright wrong. Like you, I am genuinely concerned about some greedy and immoral leaders who crept into the church as bishops, pastors, and lay leaders. However, unlike you, I do not want to commit the fallacy of hasty generalization and be blind to the enormous amount of good work the church does in charity, healthcare, and education in Kerala, India, and worldwide. I know bishops, pastors, nuns, lay leaders, and ordinary church-going Christians who are hardworking, dedicated, and daily engaging in loving service. In other religions like Hindu devotional movements, Sufism, and other forms of Islam, Sikhism, also inspired by God, engage in caring service to humanity; I believe God is working wherever people turn to him with a clean heart and love. We should not judge anyone; only God knows everything. So, I do not share your pessimism about church and ministry. I think you are not faithful to the Bible and the work of the Holy Spirit if you deny the authenticity of the Church, bishops, pastors, church-going believers, worship, and sacraments. Jesus regularly attended synagogue worship even though many Jewish leaders were corrupted. From the day of Pentecost, those who believed joined together to worship, witness, and do service to people in need. The secret of Paul’s and other apostles’ success was that wherever a few believers were, they appointed leaders and formed them as a church. When Paul wrote to the Philippian church, he addressed bishops, deacons, and believers. The church councils and bishops decide the biblical canon or determine which books should be part of the Bible. The church was built by the seeds of the martyrs, and the faith was sustained, passed on from one generation to the next, and missionaries were sent to different continents by the church. Despite the misuse of power and superstitions that crept into the church occasionally, the true reformers tried to highlight the problems and strengthen the church. Today, we may be going through a crisis in the church due to greedy and immoral leaders, but the solution is not to reject it but reform it. Otherwise, we may be working against the will of God.

There are no surprises to the issues that Prof Valson Thanmpu has raised. The problem stems from the lack of a culture wherein the Syrian Christians are prompted into standing up for the truth and for taking an agitational approach as regards redemption from the path of listening and obeying everything that the bishops and clergy ask them to do. We are unable to stand for the truth even if it implies being hurt socially or financially. The courage to be expected from an “educated laity” won’t be forthcoming. It’s in our genes to be deferential and spineless. I am speaking from experience when i faced the massive corruption in my parish and was left alone to tackle it, save two of my fellow parishioners who stood by me. The rest capitulated to the popular notion of “what will others think”. No wonder the huge corruption and nepotism issues are not being attended to.

The contention that faithfuls are not allowed to enter into the Mahabotha is not correct.In Catholic Churchs there is no bar for the laity to enter into the Mahabotha. Alter boys and girls enter into the Mahabotha during the Holy Mass as well as other services.

കേരളത്തിൽ 1870 വരെ ആരും മുലകൾ മറച്ചിരുന്നില്ല. മുല അന്നു തെറിയല്ല. നായർ ഈഴവ പെൺകുട്ടികളെ നഗരത്തിൽ കല്യാണം കഴിച്ചു വിട്ടുമ്പോൾ അവർ ബ്ലാവുസ് ധരിക്കും. എന്നാൽ നാട്ടിൽ എത്തുമ്പോൾ ആരും കാണുന്നതിന് മുൻപ് തന്നെ അത് ഊരി മാറ്റും. മുസ്ലിം മതത്തിൽ ചെറുമ്പോൾ കുപ്പായമിടും. ക്രിസ്ത്യാ സ്ത്രീകളും പോർട്ടുഗൽ കാര് വന്നതിൽ പിന്നെയാണ് ചട്ട ഇട്ടതു. പഴം കുറ്റുകാർ അപ്പോഴും ഇട്ടില്ല. ഭരണം നടത്തിയ റാണിമാരും തുണി പുതക്കുക മാത്രം. മറയ്ക്കുന്നതിനാണ് കരം. അല്ലാതെ മുലയ്ക്കല്ല. ആരോ വിവരം ഇല്ലാത്തവർ രചിച്ച പൈങ്കിളി കഥയോ സിനിമായോ കണ്ടു ചരിത്രം വിളമ്പരുത്. മദ്രാസ് ഹൈ കോടതി വിധി പ്രകാരം ഈ കഥ പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കുന്നവരുടെ പേരിൽ കേസ് എടുക്കാൻ പറ്റും. കാരണം ഒരു ചരിത്ര രേഖയും തെളിവുകളുമില്ല. ചേർത്തല ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് ഏക്കർ ഭൂമി ഉള്ള ഈഴവ ജന്മികളും വ്യവസായികളും 1800 ൽ തന്നെ ഉള്ളതാണ്. ഭരണവുമായി നല്ല ബന്ധമുള്ള കുടുംബങ്ങൾ അന്നും അവിടെ ഉണ്ടു.
