I am a 2nd year mbbs student and I had to present a history of anterior swelling. I too mentioned all these details and as soon as I said patient took iodised salt my professor was furious. I just don’t get these people.

Sir is it indicated to do percussion when there is palpable lower border of thyroid, to rule out tear drop extensions?

No indication if one doesn’t suspect retrosternal extension. Not a very sensitive test anyway

Sir , before oneyear went hemithyroidectomy because of solitary thyroid nodule... . It is normal.. But. Now a days. I am suffer little bit difficult swallow food..... 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 May be goiter will occurs again... Please sir... Could u please reply me
