I can see how this will be a bonus for servers with multiple players. As a solo/single player I am not thrilled that more grind has been added. I personally did not spend much time hunting down and killing faction thralls so getting coins from vanilla thralls was handy because they are every where and not limited to a few select locations like the AoC thralls. Now that isn't possible. Not saying I hate the change since I have not played with it at all. I will have to try it and see how it all works. But my knee jerk reaction is disappointment. I always looked at the buildings that gave you free materials as a bonus for grinding up to the level required to unlock them. No the amount of materials wasn't great but it built up over time and freed up time to go do other things besides farm materials. Now more grind has been added to get the bonus mats.

Definitely see your side and I can understand. I think once it balanced more it will be no issue keeping them going once you get a started. But we will see. Thank you.

I fully agree with you. I think these changes were made around the idea of more established players and custom servers with larger populations. It feels beginner-hostile and not well balanced for solo players or those with less play time. I'll have to wait and see, of course but I'm disappointed with these changes, I'd like to see Coin/resource acquisition become more interesting and engaging in the future.

Thank you for your guide videos and care over the years Ragnarrock! I'm not happy with these changes, but I'll set them aside for now and just continue to furnish my in-game house. I'd love to be able to get into the economy for AoC but the time commitment versus added fun value at this time doesn't feel worth it to me. Additionally I'm playing on Siptah, which still lags behind and lacks many of the resources and reagent spawns enjoyed by the Exiled Lands, but I knew this going in, I just like the way the island looks. With any AoC change though, I'm sure there will come a time when they dial it back and iron out the kinks.

I just started playing this mod, chose Miner profession. I assumed that the Miner thrall was required to auto-generate resources in the mine, but that I could manually collect the resources and craft the Crate, but that doesn't appear to be the case. I initiated the craft of the T1 crate, I have all the necessary mats in the mine, but even after leaving it for quite a long time, there is no progression on the crafting. Am I right that you can't even manually craft the crates unless you have a miner thrall in place? Or am I missing something?

I really enjoy the guild aspect. I chose Forestry. All I can really say for it, is I wish there was maybe another station for this guild. Maybe we could generate a few more materials, like bark and resin, along with the wood. I think that would be really cool.

You can get resin from windmills, I believe they're from the Emberlight mod, which I'd recommend.

Hey, sorry, but I disagree with you conclusion, about auto-generation stuff. Until the update I hade some of the stations in my base/village. They were not producing much, but if I skipped a day or two playing Conan they were nice to have. Usually I play one hour or two at max in the evening. According to you, I could havest much more then the stations generation within an hour. Problem is: I dont want to do that. When I have the time to play, I want to build or craft or raid but not farm (vanilla) ressources.

I can see your side and I get that. My comment was more towards the mass amount of 40hr a week players that have swarmed discords to complain about those things. For the casual or seldom player, I can agree with the frustration. Im sure it will be balanced more over time to accommodate casuals

Where do i find the Market Trading (Station) to craft, i learned the skill but i did not find the place where is the crafting recipe to start crafting? 1. not that i can think of. Im sure there is an exception or two. 2. there is a setting inside the pippi admin panel that will let you convert pippi to aoc or vice versa.

Issues: 1) crates dont stack. 2. crates weigh too much, can only carry a couple to market unless 50 encumberance 3. market crafting station is not a luxury (insulting to say that) since unless you can teleport or build next to an existing market, can take 10-15 minutes just to carrry you 5 crates to sell 4. selling crates (an hour to sell) are you kidding me? scenario forestry:1 aoc gold = 12,500 tin, you get 50 aoc tin for 1000 wood, 250,000 wood for 1 aoc gold. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??????????????????????????????????????? even with 10x harvest rate + kronyium hatchet = good luck you guys have no clue how to balance a game

Anyone know of a good lightly modded server i can play on? Im sick of ark and just got conan a week ago. Looking for a server with additional weapons, armor, enemies, structures, qol fixes etc et . Looking for mods that dont completely change the game but maybe add a little more options, rp features, maybe make it a little more of an rpg. Yeah, the new professions are meh at best imho. The Market Trader you buy is a complete waste of time and money. It’s stupid how it only allows you to queue up 1 at a time. You used to be able to murder NA and walk away with a good amount of tin, now if you kill every AoC camp in UC, you will walk away with a minimal amount of tin. I don’t like when systems that previously worked are then made pointlessly complicated for no reason. Personally, I think it’s another step in the wrong direction for AoC.

I think this is definitely a step in right direction. I would love for there to be a full in game economy. Like a friendly village for each race where we could by their racial armors, weapons and placeables. It would give players the opportunity to get access to some stuff without needing to invest feat points. Especially useful for solo or small group play

There are indeed admin-made towns and nations like that. If you want a well-crafted world built on top of CE, Time of Origins, and custom servers like it deliver an excellent RP experience that make the AoC and Pippi coin economy far more accessible to players, even if new or solo. There are some pretty amazing player mods and map changes that you can experience out there.

It's based on a book series, the author of which is involved with the mod, it uses a fantasy universe different to Conan, but adds so much depth to the game that these days I can scarce imagine the game without it or EEWA.

Higher tier enemies drop them, and you can also get them through chests, or selling farmed resources to Bobby at his shrine, or crafted Bobby NPCs. There's also the Market Trading merchant for trading up lower coins to higher values and visa versa. I believe there may also be an AoC coin forge, but last time I used one was about a year ago, so it might not be in the mod anymore.

I tried getting the silver from a small AoC camp, I only got 7 tin, yet you need 2 gold and 5 silver to even start making money. This is wrong, by a landslide, if it takes an insane amount of time and luck to get started at all here. It's a useless system, just as well not exist. It's inaccessible and thus unusuable and thus useless. Tell the devs of the mod that people need to, well, actually be able to get started in the first place?
