I'm also a 60z pleb. From the poster's video I have observed that he's relying on spray rather than one-taps. I am mostly a Gaurdian/Sheriff player and most of the time I'm missing my first shots too EXACTLY like the uploader. The problem here is, I don't know for sure if the uploader generally play like this or not. Competing Immortal players myself, I can almost guarantee he's missing so many headshots because of the 60hz limit. Also, there are some misplays by him which costed him some deaths, but those were really not because of 60hz. Summarising: 1). Decision making is more dependent on getting deaths, more than 60hz limit. 2). Even if you are flicking at head, you should play for the spray rather than 1-taps, which is looking to work according to the video.

Well If u have 60hz monitor and u are getting 200 fps it means your pc is capable but monitor is not able to draw that for you if u have 60hz monitor the u should clock your fps to 70 - 80 fps

So I had this as well. What I did was that my laptop is 60hz right and I get around 70-100 FPS as well. What you should do is minus your hertz number by 3 (so in my case it will be 57). When I capped my fps to 57, game felt really smooth and I didn't face any fps drops. It felt much smooth than getting more fps in general.

bro it doesnt matter if you are getting fps above 60 , it will always be 60 for ur 60hz monitor , if you are getting less than that then definately u can fix that ....

And plus, there have been many researches and evidences that even if 60 is your monitor's max refresh rate, having higher fps does still feel smoother compared to just having it capped to 60. Having more frames to render means being able to constantly renew a newer frame in a much quicker time after the old one is gone. If you have 60 hz monitor and you use more fps like 120 fps, your monitor will be able to use 120 more frames instead of 60 frames so it would be able to pull out a newer frame in 60 hz. Having a higher refresh rate is still definitely better though, because the difference is that the 60 hz monitor with higher fps will just be able to just get newer frames quicker while a monitor with like 144 hz are able to fully display all of 144 frames in that moment. So yeah, having higher frames still helps even if you only have a 60 hz monitor, just not as much as having an actual monitor that supports that many frames in a second.

Dude it's not about the refresh rate it's about the response time of your monitor and internet connection. High refresh doesn't helps that much as compared to response time of the screen

You do realise that most of the 60hz monitors have 5ms average response time AND 16.67ms refresh frequency. This means even if the monitor has 9ms of response time, the refresh is still delayed. That means inverse ghosting at best. And if you are getting 30ms ping, then that's enough for 99% of player base. I would say even 40ms ping is playable. I understand as a non-high elo player the penalty on us are higher, since we can't cover up with skills. That's still will come under climbing the skill curve.
