Seventeen really brought the fun and theatrics into idol choreography when people were mostly focused on being super cool all the time, and this was just their second release ever so it really made them stand out. Just a few months experience and they already had that kind of command of the stage, their love for their craft really shows ever since day 1

it's because Hoshi's very strict in teaching svt and other trainees the basics of dancing. when it comes to dancing every angle is so important look at them now they became one of the most amazing performers

Every member of SVT at every moment of choreo is completely engaged in the performance. It really sets them apart in my eyes. You can watch any member even if they are in the back corner and they are still fully immersed in the song.

Pre-debut, pledis tested them with their choreo [they asked them to perform a routine they had practised for a specific event, and they did not know it], and because Seventeen messed up, they took their rings off them, told them they would have to earn them back. I'm pretty sure they must have collectively decided to never be caught out ever again, because they always hit the mark, every time every performance even with old choreo [just look at their 2x dont wanna cry on weekly idol]/ Might have been a shitty thing to do to them, but, seems to have done the trick.
