The way you cut in around the block takes a lot of skill. Especially with a 4ft brush. You know the viscosity of your material very well…you know the exact pace and angle to push the broom. You know how to work that brush into a corner. Real finesse!!!!

If I could have found a paving contractor in Hawaii that would offer a rejuvenator product I would have that applied. You get anywhere from 4-7 years per application and it replaces the lost Maltene that provides the flexibility lost from exposure to the elements. It soaks into the upper surface 3/8-1/2". Only need one coat, most rejuvenator products can be driven on 1 hour after application. Sealcoating is essentially just a temporary coating. Lucky to get 1-2 years before you need reapplication and most manufacturers state you need to apply 2-3 coats. Very expensive if you have a large area to cover. I have 5,600 sq feet.
@SEALCOATINGISLIFE4 ай бұрын
I’ve sealed driveways that didn’t need a reapplication until 5 years later. It’s all about who is doing the work and what products they are using.

A lot of the time they are spraying and pulling a squeegee, usually only doing one pass. We are brushing the sealer in from multiple angles. But yes, for the best results pressure washing beforehand is the best. It’s just not always going to happen.
