Great work! working my way through all the videos - true craftsmanship...i'm hooked! Music is really nice too, especially the jazzy ones. Would this product work well in high humidity eg Florida? And do you know anyone in the area doing this brush method of sealcoating or at least a decent company here? My concern is the difficulty to obtain/lack of license in this state as no license is required:(

We only had a few problems when the night time temps dropped below 45 degrees. We’ve had a hand full of re-seals. Other than that, it’s been smooth sailing.

This is the best commercial sealcoating video on KZbin: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJzVqKOtfZd-aJI You see they have a routing machine they clean the cracks with, then they use hot air to clean out those cracks, then they are using the bander to fill the cracks with hot-tar. Thats as good as it will get. But it's expensive and most residential clients don't want that up-charge.

So whats your thoughts on hot seal coating vs. Cold seal? The cold seal is a professional product from the seal coating place. We have a stupid long driveway and I have a fair amount of sealing experience. Just not with the cold stuff. Florida is legal for bitumen based coating. The drive is not great but mostly solid. Trying to decide if doing it myself is worth it. Got lots of important projects so money is critical.

Do you have any other colours of sealant? I’ve only ever seen this brown one from your videos. I’m in Australia so unsure if you have different products to us here. I had my concrete sealed in a country blue

This is asphalt sealer, so the colors are limited. They do make other colors but they are expensive, around 5x the cost of the product we use.
