Kasey I was cracking up through this whole video. I almost opened up a vortex on my right side from intense laughing. Just plain sunsets while beautiful are a dime a dozen. There must be at least one other interesting subject matter in the frame - ominous clouds, a bird flying through the sun, a statue, etc. The ghost pic reminded me of the scream character taken into the 5th dimension. The rock climber image was too flat, it had no sense of depth to it. Like you said it could have been an upside down pic of someone laying down on a NYC sidewalk, which would probably make for a more interesting image. At first I thought you added the vomit to the tiger image...they needed to get in a bit tighter with that shot. If you're going to the zoo take a long lens so at least it doesn't look like a zoo shot.

What exactly is stopping Fujifilm from releasing a full-frame camera with an X-Trans sensor?

The fact that they already have two different sensor sizes they support on either side of full frame , and each system needs its own glass available which takes years to build out a lineup. Adding a third sensor size and lens lineup to support would likely make Fuji’s camera division unprofitable due to all the R&D it would require, and the fact that they’re only the fourth biggest camera company. Even Sony and Canon, the biggest camera companies only support two sensor size systems. In short y’all gotta STOP ASKING Fuji never was going to make full frame cameras and likely never will, this was always the plan.

They've expressed many times at trade shows that APSC is too close to FF, and they have the MF GFX line for studio quality shots. Actually, I was always disappointed Olympus never went FF - they kept push M43 as the holy grail for professionals.

Can you please talk me out of the sigma EF 85mm 1.4 art for video? Found a used deal for 600 cad and I just can't look past that thing. The old ef85mm 1.2ii looks amazing but autofocus looks so unusable for video. I don't mind slow focusing speeds as long as tracking's accurate but its not clear the old canon can even keep up with that. I don't rely much on MF these days. Would be for tripod use mostly. Thoughts? I'm on the R8. I know what you're gonna say but I need to hear it from the man. The EF 85 1.4 also looks interesting but I for sure ain't finding it for less than double the price of the sigma. Cheers

Get the Canon EF 85mm f1.2 mark i, you won't be spending much more than the flat useless Sigma.

@@cameraconspiracies the EF mki goes for around the same price as the mkii and is just harder to find. I can get the EF Mkii for around 800-1000, I don't mind the cost vs sigma at all but it's really the Uber slow AF that scares me about it. Is it really that bad?
