What's your favorite part of this video: the tutorials, or the playing peoples' games?

Tutorials so I know what the game is like before I buy but also like other people's games to see the possibilities. Playing Mario Maker 2 i imagine helps

Glad that you tried out Mousey's Cheese Maze! Videodojo has been working on the game on and off since GBG came out, easily putting hundreds of hours into it. GBG has a lot of very strict limits, he streamed daily for weeks to optimize the game along with the GBG community. Seeing your reactions to it really made my day!

That's so awesome! Thank you for saying that. It's a really well done game! Especially under the tight constraints of GBG. Thanks for checking out the video, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

GBG can get very advanced even with the limits. Many people have done a lot with it. I've been playing the game ever since launch day and even on day 1 of the game there was recreations of actual games.

They really have! I've been so impressed with the games I've played. People are so creative.

I agree! I think this game is actually a decent introduction to many of the different aspects of game development.

@@Brad_is_Brad Do you know some good game engines for my Chrome Book? I can't find any. I was using Unity but my computer crashed so I have to use my schools computer. I'm thinking about getting Game Builder Garage to get familiar with all the mechanics and downloading PDF's about programming
@Brad_is_Brad2 жыл бұрын
If all else fails, there's always javascript! You can make some amazing stuff with javascript that is easily runnable in your browser, and there are several game and physics engines out there for it (don't know a thing about it, but phaser.io might be worth checking out). If you're new to game development, Game Builder Garage might get your brain thinking about games in a different way from just playing games, and get you thinking about how games might work under the hood.
