Did it on my first day on a half pipe, i fell and fell and fell and kept falling until damn near every naked part of my bade was full of scratches n shit, all you have to do is think, this is not gonna kill me i just gotta think about doing it and nothing else. Overcoming fear is the easiest in the very beginning, if you make it like you don’t have a choice you will always do it no hesitation.

Duke I’ve been skating for 5 years and I’ve never seen someone do as good as you on their first day of skating especially considering most people start when they’re young and you had to skate with your big ass feet on that toothpick board. I have a us9 foot and I ride anywhere from a 8.25-8.5 so because your foot is bigger I’d recommend a 8.5-9 but if you wanted to learn kickflips I’d suggest something closer to an 8.5. Also the best tip I can give for dropping in is lean forward, bend your knees and trust in yourself and you’ll 100% do it.

Been skating since I was 9, I'm 25 now and man for first day this is pretty dope...especially getting that close to dropping in on a quarter. Best tip I could give you for the drop is to first stomp that shit, make solid confident contact with the wheels to the ground, lean forward more and just let your body figure out the rest from there, I could see ya dropping in easy with your next couple sessions fr...Also, the bigger the board, the easier it'll be to control.
