Oh i didn't know you need just one claw to play that first machine usually i just grab it with both arms and leave it to chance but it never work finally i know how well educate video sir keep it up! can't wait to go back to Japan.

I just came back from Tokyo and used the techniques in your videos at the Akiba arcades. It took some practice, but once you get use to how the claw moves I did win some prizes. Arigato gozaimasu crane sensei!

Oh, so when the claw grip feels weak, it means someone won recently and it’s not worth trying. Got it. The one on the strings though, they are quite skillful. :)

When I visited Japan, I found if you get the prize near to the opening, you just yell SUMIMASEN! and the staff will give it to you. Sumimasen is like a magic spell in Japan.

The boxes are weighted strangely. The character is only in the back half, etc so it makes the box unpredictable. Character and claw machines are the one industry, made for each other.

Tried getting a denji figure from BiVi Nijo next to Nijo castle and blew about 2500 yen and still didn't get it. The claw machine we were playing with has two prongs that are reasonably strong but the prize is a box about 30centimeters tall and is on a platform consisting of sticks that get wider the closer they are to where the claw is. It's also one of those claws where you have to hold and let go of the arrows without getting a second chance to adjust. Any tips guys?
