Most people don’t understand why saddles, tack or belts cost so much, but when you understand the value of the artistry and time that goes into the making of these items then you understand and appreciate them. They truly are hereditary pieces that are being made. Beautiful!! AND they are made in the USA, which is awesome. Thank you for sharing this family owned legacy.

Hi Dan, I know some people have been critical of you about horses but please don’t let the opinions of a few let you believe that’s how we all feel. Your spirit seems down, dejected. I don’t know anything about horses other than I love their beauty and strength. I rode as a child at farms where you pay by the hour. When you’re born and raised between Milwaukee and Chicago there’s not too many cowboys. Hateful comments are never right. I recently unsubscribed to a channel I had been viewing for many years because of a hateful comment made by the content provider. I’m at a time in my life where I want peace. God is love, God is peace.

I had a custom saddle made from California. It took forever to get here, but once I got it, it was just beautiful. The skirt was shorter on it because my horse had a short back and it was cut out around the fenders so my horse could move more freely. I learned so much about saddles. Thanks for this. It was great information.

How fascinating to see these people work and the finished product. I don’t think craftsmen and women are appreciated enough. I live in Virginia and when I was growing up we often would travel to see my Mothers family in the mountains. My great aunts husband had in his saddle in a barn he had from boyhood. That saddle always fascinated me. I don’t know if it was homemade or store bought. I’m 66 now and they’ve long since gone to heaven. I surely hope someone has that saddle and it wasn’t tossed out. The thing that fascinates me the most is that my great uncle’s last name was Oliver. Definitely going to have to do a deep dive for a Texas connection.
