Professor Gourley discusses the rarer subtypes of ovarian cancer and the latest research. Previously ovarian cancer treatment strategies have treated all ovarian cancers the same way. It is now clear that ovarian cancer is not one but many different diseases and that they cannot be treated in the same way. This webinar focuses subtypes such as low grade serous, clear cell and mucinous and how this is offering new clinical trial opportunities for patients.

Thankyou so much for this livestream, as an endometroid ovarian cancer patient it can be dispiriting when every question seems to be answered with “we dont really have any data” or “the trials didn’t break that down”, so it is brilliant to hear about the work that is going on and planned, and the knowledge that is being learned about these rarer cancer types.
