i have content ideas. Hikaru has the viewers make puzzles for him. He has to solve them. An example is an endgame where white has 6 knights all next to each other and one queen. Mate in 24 or whatever. If he doesn’t do it, he’ll hit the 50 move draw and lose that puzzle. Why not? Use that as the template for subs to make subs more involved w his content. He could announce it and ask his subs to not just send the same things. After episode one he’d know what his subs are likely to send, so he can ask them to send less of it. That’ll add more variety to the puzzles he solves. Have a third party filter the puzzles and make it become harder and harder as he completes each one. If needed, use one or two “call a friend” (see an engine for one move) choices per episode. Title it “Subs send endgames” or something like that, not just “subs send me puzzles”. Or title it something like “6 KNIGHT ENDGAME?!” I’m a genius btw, hire me lol.

as good as this sounds in concept, creating puzzles is a lot harder than maybe you’re giving it credit for
@vitzbig10 ай бұрын
Have u got any idea how hard it is to create puzzles? We mere mortals are not up to it, specially 24move mate ones
@biz636110 ай бұрын
@@inspectuhtuff not really. subs can just make positions using an engine. make unique positions with tricky mate in 13 or whatever and use stock fish for it. they can shuffle the pieces around until they find a certain position that has a mate or maybe even one single winning idea for Hikaru to find. anyone with a little bit of free time can do it. you probably wouldn’t be able to make complex positions with every piece on the board but you could simplify the position and switch around the pieces until the engine finds a cool sequence to mate or win the advantage

The only gambit I know the most lines as black and ways to respond to what white does is the Rousseau gambit. Pretty much any move white does I know the line for theory or line for it. As a low rated player if white plays the Italian, I play the Rousseau gambit to get free elo.
