I can see its very stressful for the scientists because they all know whats happening, for them the 'house is on fire', whereas everyone else is happily pretending nothings wrong, consuming and burning fossil fuels as fast as ever, and putting little or no pressure on Congress of the President to cut GHG emissions.

Thank-you professor. The first half is a magnificent summary and review of what and why our Earth's energy systems are changing. I do not have much hope for the future as it seems our present system will plow onward with a business as usual approach. So many people and unfortunately leaders also are still in denial or else they just do not care.

Heißzeit critical insolation-co2 relation for diagnosing past and future glacial inception Warming assessment of the bottom-up Paris Agreement emissions pledges And you see..how can you get it so wrong really uh ? Because you want to get it wrong...I will not elaborate on that... 48.55 This is a suicide strategy clearly. Hans Schellnhuber is excellent.

I don't mind additions to the energy grid. In fact our goal should be to amplify the grid because energy is also high in demand & not enough supply. However, the earth is not uniform. Renewables cannot carry the whole grid so when today's young people get alarmed by this issue I have to ask them, will you give up your gasoline powered car & be willing to pay the high price of electricity? Will you have your heating source tossed to the dump & rely on strictly say solar for heat in the winter? Note that in any entirely electrified economy, demand skyrockets, supply is not met. The cost goes up regardless.

You are right about Pence being 'dangerous' but you underestimate the damage Putin-controlling-trump is doing to the world. Its more permanent than people realize.

This presentation is mostly an intelectual exercise on what will happen to a stage 4 lung cancer patient in the next decades regarding his kidneys, eye sight, etc. Mind boggling.

We could, but won't. It is more like the doctor said if you do this and this you will live and the patient said bla.

I really can't understand, why allmost nobody is listening to that!!! We thought mankind is over the point of fighting for survival. That was truely wrong! Now we're in it in a global expanse, and the most people don't want to listen...

Schelnhuber is an extreme alarmist how only a german ideologist can be. IPCC AR6 working group has low to medium confidence in all the trends of extreme weather events he mentions.

CO2 is a red herring. That said, stopping deforestation, reducing ocean fishing, and changing our agricultural and industrial activity to reduce the toxic pollution of our air, water, and land is all necessary. There’s no need to feign “crisis” and “extinction” and pedal “house on fire” analogies to get common folks behind a pro-ecology movement because common folks like me are reasonable. That reasonableness explains our distaste for the climate hysteria because we know what comes along with government and experts calls for crisis. “God on your side,” you say? You and every other mass murderer and tyrant claim that god animates their activity and guides their thoughts. We don’t need god and we don’t need hysteria from “experts.” The history of science is rife with atrocity and overturned theories. Let’s wake up, get some humility, and start making sense.

I strongly disagree with a Climate Passport. For the rest of this mans speach I do not think he is strong enough in argument to remain on the scene. Unfortunately the title alone does not credit oneself! Once there are problems again to heat ones house up here in Sweden the migration will reverse, some people are just not hardened enough to survive.
