What prof is saying is so true...instead of the schools empowering learners to discover and create their unique identities informed by their experience and interpretation of the world around them, schools indoctrinate learners to perpetuate what worked in past as the only way to look into the world. Hence our learners cannot crack new codes to solve our problems of existence today because in their quiver they have only weapons which already failed in the past.

Prof L Makalela...you said it all. Most of us teachers are more on product than the process...the reason why learners un our class can hardly communicate their views with confidence
