Majin can be translated literally as Magic Man, but here it is translated as Sorcerer, although other words can be used instead, such as Warlock or Witcher. Majin is basically a male analogue of the word Majou, which literally translates as Magic Woman and usually is translated as Witch. Don't be confused if you see Makoto being referred to as a Devil, that's just a mistranslation because both words sound exactly the same in japanese, but use different characters.

13:45 Btw, the dude says "majin" here. In TenSura, that is a magicule based lifelorm, like Benimaru and Rimiru. In Tsukimichi, it's meaning is "devil." Don't get why they went with "Sorcerer."

Abelia has the same last name as the blond noble that was harrasing Luria the waitress from the hotpot restaurant for a reason. In the manga they have Abelia beat Illumgard in another class.
