Studying for my A+ cert. The corporation I work for is going to give me a pay increase once it’s completed. I’m already doing technical support with the company but I’ll get additional pay.

I'm 40 and haven't been in IT class since I was in my 20s. I hope and pray I can study and pass as an older person. 😆 A+ certified is a personal dream goal. Thanks to my uncle may he r.i.p he was an IT engineer and was murdered a couple years ago. I'm doing this for him. ❤

Bro we have a sort of similar story. My brother was killed in a motorcycle accident a few weeks after I started going to IT school. I decided to dedicate this school to him. I'm working on my A+ right now. Best of luck to ya, let's keep going. My condolences 🙏🏾

About that exam voucher link. It doesn't say whether it's 1101 or 1102. That difference in price is very worth, but I want to make sure if I'm getting the right thing.

An A+ voucher can be applied to any current A+ exam series. The voucher information page has this bullet at the top: "Applicable towards one 220-1101 or 220-1102 A+ exam." Good studies!

1201 and 1202 are coming out Spring 2025, next year in April. Should I wait or just take 1101 and 1102 now?

The current A+ exams will continue to be available until the end of 2025. As a general rule, you should never wait to get certified.

I just checked CompTIA for A+ they going to update their test. Spring 2025. I wonder if I’m reading this right? So their retirement might be sooner?

The retirement dates listed in the live stream are correct. I would expect the current A+ exam series to retired at the end of 2025.
