I Passed My Exam!!! My advice would be to go over the course objectives and make sure you are at least familiar with everything! Also take plenty of practice tests, go through the course notes and watch all the study group videos!

Hay professor, saying my thanks from South Africa....... just wanted to say thank you for your amazing videos, especially the ones for N+. In short....... I've spent months studying and prepping for the N+ 008 exam and managed to find the guts to write the exam after MONTHS of studying on the 12 of August. During that week I crammed all your vids in to recap and ultimately, just going through with you and your videos gave me the courage to not back out on writing the exam. In all I regret not following the videos before, however I am still happy for the journey I had to go through and having your videos there to help me get past the finish line. So i passed my exam on the 1st time (12th August 2022) and I was so happy LOL, I don't think I've ever screened as hard for anything else from excitement. Looking forward to follow you're Security + course in the future... still loving your networking + videos... thank you! and good luck!

Great video, especially the performance based question on OSI model. That keeps tripping me up but I just had an aha moment when you described what to look for at each layer.

@@professormesser I am still wondering what other certs you will do next. Even if you didnt cover other certs on videos, i still think it would be nice if you made physical study notes on a few other certs. Cause i use multiple videos for other certs anyways i always watch multiple people, but i only use your physical study notes. I always think it would be nice to have your notes for cloud essentials+, project+, or just any other cert. Im always like i dont even care if he makes videos on them. I just wish i had notes on other certs from you.

What’s a realistic amount of time to prep for the A+. Specifically while working another full time job and having a family.

Same situation here. I decided as much time as it takes to fully understand and comprehend all of the information. It’s not a race, and having a solid foundation and understanding of the topics will only help you succeed.

I studied for roughly 6 months 4 months of basic and 2 months hard hitting. Working 40+ hours a week. Just make studying a habit.

It depends on the person. I took 2 weeks working fulltime and working on my business. Just find the best way to study.
