quick question: The CompTia Website states: The New CompTIA Network+ (N10-009) exam is coming June 20, 2024. It is May 17, a month away from that version. Should I study the 008 videos, or wait until next month when the 009 comes out aong with the videos Messer will post?? super confused here

Take the current version if you have already started your studies. No reason to do the 009 if you are far along in your 008 studies. The 009 won't even have near as many study materials. if you can pass your 008 before the test expires, (which you plenty of time from today so you can) then take that test.
