I have watched plenty of short dramas but this one was unique and entertaining.... Loved everything about it.. the plot, the cast with perfect visuals... Violence free and loved how the ml and fl cleared the misunderstandings between them... Highly recommended Also the ml is so handsome He looks like enhypen's sunghoon

The fl is a big red flag .The fl seems to be stringing both the guys along ... not fair that she gets to make her choice at her own time while leaving the guys out dry...... i liked the second male lead.... no ambiguity.. just wanted her ... no pretence or drama..... loved her from school.... why push into desperation...

The FL makes lots of assumptions and takes the win for poor communication. The ML does his fair share too though. This seems like it's a really good drama but because it would get me too stressed watching all the back and forth and misunderstandings play out I've been doing a lot of shipping through it. Once I know what to expect I'll probably go back and watch it properly again some other time. It's definitely very interesting though.

Actually, the more I watch the more I realize this really would be too stressful to me. There's too much manipulation and disgusting behavior from the SML. He just keeps getting worse and worse too. The FL keeps seeing his sick and twisted side, sees how much he keeps crossing the line with her and behaving more and more obsessively yet she continues to treat him as a friend. Yes, she shuts him down firmly every time but she doesn't then cut him off completely but continues to let him approach her and hover around her. Then the parents! That's a whole other level of psychosis and guilt time and almost abusive way to live and treat the leads! They are selfish and cruel, especially the father because he is consciously behaving the way he is towards his own son and a child he raised. I get that they are grieving but they took that mess too far. Throw in the poor communication and lack of trust and faith in one another between the leads themselves and this is just too messy of a drama. The FL is definitely the worst of the two. She's always doubting the ML. It's ridiculous. I could see how some would absolutely LOVE it though! It's good! Really good. The acting is great too! It's just far to stressful for me to watch. Skimming through it to get the gist of the story is good enough for me.

Okay so I don't really like the way they wrapped this up. Not ata ll. They tied up the loose ends, yes, but in very unfulfilling ways. Like, once the FL gets the mother on board the story went immediately into wrap up mode. Suddenly the leads were walking down the street and telling a flower girl they're married. We don't see them get the father on board, even after how far he went to keep them apart. We don't even get a proposal or wedding scene or wedding photos or any of that, even though we saw the huge empty wedding the SML had prepared when he was attempting to force the FL to marry him. We don't see any real resolution with the SML either other than a news report on tv YEARS later when the leads are watching with their daughter who looks like she's at least 5! All they say in the news is that he was being investigated for corrupt behavior. That's it! After all he did, even within his family and the business and power struggles they had going on, there should have been more resolution to that part of the story. Either that or they shouldn't have delved into it as much as they did in the first place. Yes, they wanted us to see that he was cruel and twisted on a whole other level, and maybe also help us see some of why he might have been that way but then they should have made sure to wrap up that part of the story properly too. We don't even get to see how the ML handled the fact that the public believed he was about to get married to the SFL after her press conference betrayal, to him suddenly being married to the FL. There was no interaction showing how things were resolved with the SFL - they had been friends and partners for years but that was a clear betrayal. Even a basic conversation showing him understanding and forgiving her would have sufficed though. But, no, instead they skip over then show them run into her years later at some event, where she introduces them to her new boyfriend. On a good note, I will say that her boyfriend was rather FINE though. A total hottie. That, I liked! 🤩😛😂 Even with me skimming and watching mostly just the last third of the drama fully I was extremely disappointed with how they wrapped this up. I couldn't imagine how frustrated I would have been had I watched the entire thing properly. I'd be pissed!

They didn't do a great job editing the flash backs. Little bits get revealed. But I had trouble following some of it. Plot is this... I think....😅 SPOILERS The FLs family goes bankrupt? Mother dies. Dad can't handle it, facing his daughter everyday so he move abroad for work and entrusts his friend to care for his daughter. To foster her. The ML family had lost a daughter at 6. So they doted on the girl very much. FL character is depressed and people pleasing. Not surprising after being essentially abandoned by her father. Later he dies and the ML family adopts her. The ML and FL fall in love and secretly date during college. But ML family faces a business crisis and the ML is engaged to the Lin family. (To hide her out of wedlock child) misunderstandings and family issues cause them to separate for 7 years. He comes back to break off the engagement with the Lin girl and rekindle their relationship with the FL. They are not true brother and sister. She was young but not a child when she moved in with them. He never regarded her as a sister. She fell inlove with him over time. They were good to each other. Just misunderstandings, low self esteem, and overthinking. And then there is Mr. Gu. The un-romanticized reality of a possessive CEO. Granted in drama world I would transmigrate and give him the love and acceptance he needs and desires. Poor guy just wants to be loved. His life sucks and the FL is his only ray of sunshine. (That's a drama in itself haha) Hope that helps.
