the last issue of dead x-men and this issue are WTF issues 😅 . There is this cover with Storm and Cyclops fighting Nimrod with the rest of the x-men down ,usually covers are misleading but i wonder if we will see this fight now with Storm coming in hot . I suspect that the mutants in the white hot room will come back at the last second and save the day .

Definitely wtf issues. And I agree that the white hot room mutants will get involved. Plus they’ve already announced a new Phoenix solo series from the ashes with Jean Grey so I expect them to play a big role by the end.

I’m sorry y’all but I’m loving Xavier’s heel turn. And in fact I think it’s great writing because it has so many people emotionally attached. How can Xavier maintain his morals with everything they’ve gone through? He was bound to snap. He’s not Jesus🤷🏾‍♂️

I feel like the writers have run out of ideas on what to do with his character so they just keep making him do the opposite of everything he ever stood for. I also think the fact that the first writer to do this was told to do so in order to hurt the X-men popularity to get back at fox movie studios just rubs people the wrong way

Maybe we'll get explanation in Rise of the Powers of X #4 for his betrayal . In that cover Xavier is on his knees with the ground covered in skulls . They have also Enigma to deal with .
