i have to keep looking at your videos to even try to understand what is going on with the flash show...i was more a marvel guy growing up, with the exception of teen titans and batman. It kinda feels to me like they are adding too much required backstory for the flash show to understand what is going on. I have friends who ask me to explain this or that, and i just refer them to you, as that is the only way i understand it myself. I really enjoy your channel, thanks to your videos, i have been able to catch up on a lot of comic stories that i then went out and picked up. I'm sure it is a lot of work to compile and distill all the information on all these stories, but you do a great job, and i really appreciate all the work you put into it. =)

He does in a way, we could say that his memories of the flashpoint and pre new 52 will surface sometime, like, since it's all about time travel, I guess The Flash lived his entire life without knowing about his past life until it came an specific time, like, the exact same day of which the flashpoint events happen or something like that

***** he wasn't in the flashpoint universe long enough to lose his memories but it's shown that he was losing them, to the point where Shazam had to help, however in the new 52 where he's been living, his memories were just erased because this is in fact the true future where three separate timelines combined which is why I think he just accepted he would forget his old life. And batman doesn't remember about pre new 52, he just knows something happened where his dad was alive instead of him because of Barry, but he doesn't know that he himself was part of a different universe. DC did a horrible job saying what did and what didn't happen in the new 52, so that's why there's so much confusion. Hopefully the Convergence event shows what was retconned and what is canon.

Well, part of it was the machine he used making him unstable.
