It's not just animals that are made of cells, it's plants too! Plant cells are very similar to animal cells, but they have some stuff that animal cells don't, like chloroplasts, that allow for photosynthesis. Let's take a tour through a plant cell now!

As someone who was homeschooled with creationist, deficient science curricula, these videos are great to watch as an adult! Thanks, Prof Dave! 👍✌️

I loved this video. So this chloroplast things are the organelles in charge of creating nutrients for the plant from sunlight, water and minerals. Plants create nutrients, herbivores eat plants and carnivores eat herbivores. According to this cycle stuff, plants have more nutrients than herbivores. Isn't it? I've got a savage question. If plants and bacteria are the only been able to create nutrients. Why science says that humans needed to eat other animals to obtain more nutrients and become wiser?

well i can't generalize that plants have "more nutrients" than animals, it's simply that plants can make their own food while animals can't. science certainly doesn't say that humans need to eat animals, we simply have for the entire history of the species, and perhaps there is some link to our having eaten animals and certain aspects of the evolution of our intellect, that i don't know. some choose to stop doing so, and they are entitled to do that, particularly with how feasible it is in modern society.

There are no golgi apparatus but just simpler bodies called dictyosomes
