I think my 7 year old son has found a meteorite in Leeds uk on 15 December 2019. How do know for sure it is one. It's dark black and brown, magnetic and dimpled. It's ball shaped and roundish, about the size of 20p. Is there somewhere that I can get it identified. I'm not interested in selling it, just to inspire my son and give him the bug of curiousity.

Meteorites are never spherical or “ball shaped” so unfortunately I doubt it’s a meteorite but still a cool find!
