They are a cute couple. Beautiful representation of black gay men having their own personal family and having children. We DEFINITELY need to see more of this. I think a lot of us don’t see ourselves having children cause we haven’t seen a lot black gay couples with children.

Loved your closing remarks about giving yourself grace and your partner grace when entering into a relationship. A relationship will go through stages as you get to know one another. Key word communication. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Sampson you always ask the right questions. 👍🏾👍🏾

Sampson, this series is brilliant. I look forward to every episode. The representation of Black love you're presenting here is truly affirming (I've been in an interracial relationship for 19 years so I appreciate seeing brothers together). Thank you!

Dear SampsonMcCormick: We as Black people need another way of thinking about ourselves instead of just "Black" people. Consider this: There are NO black people in Africa. As astounding as that statement is - it is very true. The Peoples of Africa see themselves as: Fungo, Mongo, Kuba, Yoruba, Zulu peoples. Of course their skin color is black, but that is NOT the Identity to which they see themselves. It's only after each of these groups have landed on US soil and gone to US Immigration that they are BECOME known as 'Black People'. There are NO white people in Europe. As stounding as that statement is - it is also very true. The peoples of Europe see themselves as Swedes, French, Germanic, Italian, Greek peoples. Of course, their skin color is white, but that is NOT the identity to which they see themselves. It's only after each of these groups have landed on US soil and gone through US Immigration that they become known as 'White People'. Only in the United States are peoples classified by the ridiculous and absurd idea of the color of their skin. And in doing so PROSCRIBE YOUR LIVING CONDITIONS IN THE US. WHAT/WHY IS THAT?? ANYONE??
