There s a correction in question no. 5 and 6. We have to find initial loss%. 5)If the sale price of an article is doubled then it's loss percentage is converted into equal profit percentage. In question no.4| selling one article is 37.5%more than the loss incurred when it is sold at other price. What's reason behind taking denominator value 8 as loss ratio pls explain mam

Fraction value of 37.5% is (3/8) If denominator denotes loss = 8 parts Numerator denotes the increased part = 3 parts So the profit part will be = 8+3 = 11 parts

No ma... Wrongly understood.. In 7th prblm they said profit % numerically equals to CP.. Which means CP= X then P% = X%. Again explaination parunga.. In 6th prblm question is wrongly typed... Actual question is find it's initial loss%.

It's based on the quadratic equation we formed.. If you solve these questions using traditional method u should form a quadratic equation and have to find solution. Using this traditional method, the shortcut is arrived
