I do have one suggestion, dont buy or trust any product that you don't see pulled from a case. Alot of greasy people in this business they open a case and a few boxes pull out the case hits then, dump the unopened product. Sadly i tried to do it myself because even the case hits sometimes aint so great, you need to open about 20 cases, which leaves you with loads of unopened products that you actually need to push. Sadly my local LDS which is Frank and Sons knows this and sells blasters and boxes dirt cheap, because people already suspect that. But there are a few venders that I trust that i go to for products

I know it is easy to get bummed about the ratio of profits to losses, but I have two points about that. 1) This is reality. Buying packs in any configuration is a form of gambling. Most people do not win big, while the lucky few do. Some people post only their successes, which gives a false impression to viewers who may end up losing money when they buy based on that impression. So this is a great service to show people. 2) Collecting is not all about short-term investment (I'd say that collecting is the antithesis of flipping). Some people do buy and immediately sell, but others prefer to play the long game. A loss in the present may be a win in the future as the unexpected star emerges. This takes patience and good management of your collection but can be the silver lining when things don't look good right out of the box.

Hey man! Definitely! I’m a collector through and through who doesn’t really care about profit too much. I do these videos mainly for people because they seem to like it, and to show new collectors the amount you typically lose when you open a box like you said. And I def agree on your second point! That’s my fav part about bowman! Five years later and all of a sudden you have a 40 dollar card sitting there lol

These optic football don't deserve the love I have for them! I spent $500 without seeing even a base Stroud card and then the other day I opened a box with 4 Stroud's and a numbered Purdy! I like watching you open them though! 😂 Can't wait for the 6pm drop! Your stream last night was amazing!

Jason, we were on our way home to Dayton from Windsor last night and I missed your auction. Just watched replay. Great job. The graded card winning bid was ugly … less than the cost of grading. Hey, I’m attempting to complete my first set of Topps Series 1 and 2 for 2024. Just sent in my missing cards. Believe it or not, if completed, it will be my first for this 71-year-old relic. Topps should send you an award for getting so many people re-inspired with collecting. I would never had purchased so many cards this year if it hadn’t been for you and your entertaining videos.

It was the guys first ever graded card he’s ever purchased or owned at all! So that makes me feel awesome about it!

That’s great Jason! You bring special meaning to the sports card hobby. I recently finished organizing my card collection; penny sleeving all 10,000-plus cards and hard sleeving 1,000-plus that “I think” have some value from 1960 - 2024. Took them to a highly-rated collector in Cincinnati this past Thursday. He was very kind, spending four hours with me reviewing my collection and giving me his recommendations. He said that if I’m thinking about selling my collection, it might be wise to consider grading some of my selected better cards. But, he also warned me that grading can be a big black hole. Sounded like you regarding grading companies. I’m like the gentleman that won the graded card bid; I have yet to purchase or own a graded card from any sport or non-sport. It will soon be decision time for this man … old enough to be your father. Ha ha! Have a great Sunday evening.

@@franklbee8954 yeah grading is sooooo tough. If you see any little flaw on any of them I wouldn’t grade them unless they are some massive legend rookie card. Grading can def be a money pit which is why I stay away lol
