An earthquake off the coast of Mozambique would potentially cause a tsunami that radiates out towards Madagascar, and onward towards Asia and Australia - nowhere near Brazil. Perhaps the writers of this episode should have said the earthquake happened off the coast of Angola, which is directly across the Atlantic Ocean from Brazil's east coast.

Tsunamis can be generated by earthquakes. These tsunami-generating earthquakes originate mainly in subduction zones, where tectonic plates collide and one is forced under the other.

That's not the problem, mozambique is in the "wrong" side of Africa. Mozambique is on the Indian Ocean, Brazil on the Atlantic

@@LucasAleatorioRandom exactly, when he said east Africa I realized the problem.

Hmmm in the FT film who killed the ESG Party, the team mentioned that the Ukraine Russia War in the past few years saw a shift away from ESG related stocks (partially due to underperformance) to conventional energy. This seems to contradict Taylor's idea to invest in alternative energy during a sugar crisis...

Did he say Mozambique is in East Africa?

Sell Rating is harsh 😂 Not an Earthquake expert but since Mozambique is at the coast, given that the earthquake is strong enough, this could cause huge amounts of water to shift. I mean Tsunamis are basically caused by earthquakes on the oceanfloor, right?

Yeah, Mozambique is in South East Africa. Maybe it was tectonic plates in play. Lets ask Neil Degrass Tyson. He has all the answers lol

Yeah Taylor doesn't know how options on VIX work. It is not like options on other equities. The difference between buying options on VIX one month out and six months out, is not only the time value. Since, you didn't correct Taylor, maybe you are also unaware how options on VIX are priced????
